Follow these candle care tips to enjoy a clean, even burn and long-lasting fragrance:

  • The first burn is essential: allow your candle to burn until the wax melts evenly across the surface to prevent tunnelling.

  • Trim the wick: Always trim the wick to approximately 5 mm before each use for a safer, cleaner burn.

  • Burn time: Do not burn candles for more than 3–4 hours at a time.

  • Candle safety: Place on a heat-resistant surface and keep away from draughts, children, pets, and flammable materials. Never leave a candle burning unattended.

  • Extinguish correctly: use a candle snuffer or gently dip the wick into the wax to avoid smoke and soot

  • Control evaporation: Flipping reeds too frequently may cause the diffuser oil to evaporate faster.

  • Keep upright: Always place your reed diffuser on a stable surface to prevent tipping.

Wax Melt Care & Safety Guide

Get the best scent throw from your wax melts while using them safely:

  • Use a suitable wax burner: only use approved wax melt burners designed for wax melts.

  • No water or oils: do not add water or additional fragrance oils to wax melts.

  • Reuse until scent fades: Wax melts can be reheated multiple times until the fragrance weakens.

  • Remove safely: Allow wax to cool and harden before removing from the burner.

  • Never leave unattended: always turn off or extinguish your wax melt burner before leaving the room.
