Welcome to The Candle Suite. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.

1. About Us

The Candle Suite is a UK-based business selling candles, wax melts, reed diffusers, and related home fragrance products (“Products”).

2. Eligibility to Purchase

By placing an order, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old, and
You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

3. Products & Descriptions

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate. However:

Colours, finishes, and packaging may vary slightly due to manufacturing or screen display differences.
All product measurements and burn times are approximate.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

4. Ordering & Contract Formation

All orders placed through our website are subject to acceptance by The Candle Suite Ltd.
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance.
A legally binding contract is formed only when we dispatch your order and send a dispatch confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order before dispatch, including where:

Products are unavailable
There is a pricing or description error
Fraud or unauthorised activity is suspected

If payment has already been taken, a full refund will be issued.

5. Prices & Payment

All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Payment is required in full at the time of ordering.

PayPal

6. Delivery

We currently deliver within the UK only.
Orders are usually dispatched within 3 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays.
Delivery times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or events outside our control.

7. Your Right to Cancel (Distance Selling)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.

This does not affect your rights if goods are faulty or not as described.

8. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, products must be:

Of satisfactory quality
Fit for purpose
As described

If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your legal rights.

9. Safety & Proper Use

Our products must be used in accordance with the safety instructions provided.

You agree that:

Candles and wax melts must never be left unattended
Products must be kept away from children, pets, and flammable materials

We are not liable for damage, injury, or loss resulting from misuse, failure to follow instructions, or negligence.

This does not exclude liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, branding, and designs, is owned by or licensed to The Candle Suite Ltd.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

The Candle Suite and Sarmi are registered trade mark.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:

Death or personal injury caused by negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Any matter for which liability cannot be excluded under UK law

Loss of profits, business, or data

The version in force at the time of your order will apply to that purchase.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
