How to Make the Most of Your Wax Melts and Melt Burner with a Tea Light

At The Candle Suite, we want you to enjoy the full fragrance experience from our wax melts. Using a melt burner is a simple and effective way to release delightful scents into your home. Follow these easy steps to get the most out of your wax melts and melt burner.

How to Use Your Wax Melts and Melt Burner:

  1. Choose the Right Melt Burner: Select an electric melt burner  or one that is designed for tea light candles. Ensure the burner is placed on a flat, stable surface away from drafts, fabrics, or heat-sensitive items. A well-ventilated room will help disperse the fragrance more evenly.

  2. Place a Tea Light in the Burner: Insert a tea light candle in the designated holder at the bottom of your melt burner. Make sure the candle sits securely and is positioned properly for safe burning. For Electric burners, please follow the manufacturer instructions.

  3. Add Wax Melts: Break off a piece of your wax melt and place it in the top dish of the melt burner. Depending on the size of the dish, you may only need one or two cubes. Avoid overfilling the dish to ensure even melting and fragrance release.

  4. Light the Tea Light: Light the tea light candle and place it under the burner. The heat from the candle will melt the wax in the dish above, releasing the fragrance into the air. Keep the burner in an area where the fragrance can spread through the room.

  5. Monitor the Melt: Let the wax melt for several hours to enjoy the full fragrance. Once the scent begins to fade, it's time to replace the wax. If the wax still holds fragrance, you can reuse it for another session.

  6. Extinguish the Tea Light: When you’re done, blow out the tea light candle or let it burn out on its own. Never leave the candle unattended while it’s lit.

How to Care for Your Wax Melts and Melt Burner:

  1. Change the Wax: Once the scent has faded, allow the wax to cool and solidify. You can remove the cooled wax by gently tapping the burner or using a cotton ball to wipe out any leftover wax. Replace it with fresh wax melts to continue enjoying your favourite scents.

  2. Clean the Burner: After the wax has cooled and solidified, clean the burner by wiping it with a soft cloth. If needed, use warm soapy water to remove any residue. Always make sure the burner is completely dry before adding new wax melts.

  3. Store Wax Melts Properly: Store your wax melts in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat, to preserve their fragrance and prevent them from becoming too soft or sticky.

By following these simple steps, you’ll ensure that you make the most of your wax melts and melt burner, enjoying long-lasting and beautiful fragrance every time. Let The Candle Suite’s high-quality wax melts fill your space with warmth and aroma, creating the perfect ambiance.
